I've been contemplating laser vision for years and years and I'm glad that I went finally through with it. I had prk done 8 days ago. Overall it went very smoothly, the first couple of days I had mild pain which was managed with Tylenol, and then 3 days after I woke up with no pain at all. Towards the 6th/7th day as long as the protective contact lense wasn't dry I was seeing 20/15. Right after the lens was taken out my vision regressed which is normal, as the surface of the eye is fresh and will naturally smoothen out as it continues to heal and as I blink over the next couple of weeks. The next day after I woke up I could already see it start to improve, and am very excited to be seeing perfect. My only side effect is just some increased glare which will continue to improve as time goes on, and even if it doesn't I'm still happy with the procedure. The team at Boston Vision is great, the technology is great, overall I very recommend it.
